No, admission is completely free. Families are welcome to enjoy all the activity stations, explore our school and speak with our educators at no cost.

Q: Can I tour the school?

Yes. Our Principal and teachers conduct guided school tours throughout the Open House. You will have the opportunity to explore our classrooms and facilities at our Jurong Gateway centre while learning more about our curriculum, programmes and learning environment.

Q: Can I speak to the teachers?

Absolutely. Our educators and Principal are available throughout the Open House to answer your questions about our programmes, daily routines, curriculum and your child's transition into preschool.

Q: Will there be any enrolment promotions?

Yes. Families who enrol during the promotional period can enjoy exclusive enrolment savings. Promotion details will be shared during the Open House and are subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Q: Is parking available?

Yes. Paid parking is available within the building and at nearby public car parks. We recommend parking at HDB Block 130 Car Park (Carpark ID: J56, Singapore 600130), the nearest public car park to our centre, just a 1 to 2 minute walk away.

Programme & enrolment FAQs.

What programmes do you offer?

We offer half-day and full-day childcare programmes for children from 18 months to 6 years old, thoughtfully designed to support every stage of your child's growth and development. Our programmes include:

Toddler — 18 months to 2 years
Playgroup — 2 to 3 years
Nursery — 3 to 4 years
Junior Kindergarten (K1) — 4 to 5 years
Senior Kindergarten (K2) — 5 to 6 years

Parents may choose between a Half-Day Programme (7:00am – 1:00pm) or a Full-Day Programme (7:00am – 7:00pm). Our curriculum hours are typically 9:00am to 5:00pm, during which children take part in a balanced programme of bilingual learning, purposeful play, inquiry-based experiences and hands-on activities. Our centre operates Monday to Friday and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

What age can my child join MapleBear Jurong Gateway?

Children may join our programmes from 18 months of age. Placement is based on your child's birth year in accordance with ECDA guidelines. If you're unsure which programme is suitable, our team will be happy to advise you.

What curriculum does MapleBear Jurong Gateway use?

MapleBear Jurong Gateway follows a MapleBear Canadian bilingual curriculum in English and Mandarin, developed by Canadian education experts and adapted to Singapore's early childhood framework. Children learn through a balance of purposeful play, inquiry-based learning and meaningful hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence. Our curriculum nurtures the whole child — developing English and Mandarin language proficiency, literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, creativity and critical thinking — while fostering a lifelong love for learning.

What meals are provided?

Children enjoy breakfast and lunch as part of our half-day and full-day programmes, plus afternoon tea for our full-day programme. All meals are freshly prepared daily by our in-house cook, giving parents added assurance that meals are nutritious, hygienic and prepared with care. We are proud to be accredited under the Health Promotion Board's Healthy Preschool Accreditation Framework and to participate in the Healthy Meals in Preschools Programme (HMPP) — our balanced menus are planned in line with national nutrition guidelines to support children's healthy growth, development and lifelong healthy eating habits.

Can my child try the programme before enrolling?

We do not offer trial classes. However, in accordance with ECDA guidelines, the first two weeks after enrolment serve as an adjustment period. This allows children time to settle into their new environment while giving families the opportunity to ensure that the programme is the right fit. Terms and conditions apply.

Do you organise special events and learning experiences?

Yes! Learning at MapleBear extends beyond the classroom through a variety of enriching experiences throughout the year — educational excursions, themed learning activities, cultural celebrations, outdoor exploration and hands-on projects that bring learning to life and build confidence, curiosity and social skills. We also value strong home-school partnerships through Family Day events, Open Houses and parent involvement activities, creating meaningful opportunities for families to learn, celebrate and grow together.

Do you provide school bus services?

Yes! We offer one-way school bus services for the morning journey from home to school, subject to route availability. Children who arrive by school bus can still enjoy breakfast upon arrival (if required), ensuring they start the day well-nourished and ready for learning. Is there an admission fee?

Do I need to register before coming?

Yes, registration is encouraged as slots are limited to ensure every family enjoys the best possible experience. You can reserve your spot using the registration form at the top of this page.

What can my child expect during the Open House?

Our Open House is designed for children to explore, play and discover! Families can enjoy a series of exciting themed activity stations led by our teachers, while parents tour the school, meet our educators and learn more about our programmes. Every child receives a Chinook Explorer Passport to collect stamps as they complete each activity station — and once all the stations are done, they can redeem a special Chinook Explorer gift to celebrate their adventure!
